RF-33/TV System

     This is an RF-33 system enhanced by the possibility of continuous monitoring of coke weight loss during the CRI test.

     In the upper part of the figure, a scale beam (black) is visible above the furnace, at the left end of which the retort is suspended, and at the right end then a weight. This weight rests on a precise electronic scale which is connected to a control computer. Such arrangement allows continuous monitoring of coke weight loss during the CRI test.

     The RF-33/TV system consists of the following main parts:

(A)  Vertically openable electric resistance furnace with a retort for CRI test
B)  Gas management for CO₂, N₂, and up to 2 other technological gases
(C)  Combustion control system with CO gas leakage detection
(D)  Weighing system for coke weight loss monitoring
(E)  Cooling box for cooling the retort after test
(F)  Rotary drum (tumbler) equipment for CSR tests
(G)  Computer control system
(H)  Accessories for coke sample preparation
